Ukrainian time thoughts

Ukrainian time

Frankly speaking, it’s difficult to imagine time as certain substance, because we can’t touch, hear, see it. So it is more like some conventional measure with modules signified in seconds, minutes, hours… It turns out, that time is the most common abstraction in the modern world without which no rational human existence is possible.
Since time is abstraction views on it differs from person to person. It depends on variety of factors, such as ethnic group, religion, age, education and upbringing, social level, sex, intelligence and even temperament. To get the more or less picture of Ukrainian time as opposed to American or Oriental, we need to explore what time is for Ukrainian social strata. The first thing to come to mind is students’ life. The mutual relations between student and time keep within the terms of studying. I think, time is the most tangible the night before an exam or during it, or when you are late for your date. In any other cases we pay no attention to it.
Let’s take a schoolboy, an average kid with bristling hair and mischievous look. For him time is likely associated with 8.30 a.m. when he is permanently waking-up by considerate parents.  Or he thinks about time when his favorite cartoon is on.
And what about an old woman living in a Khrushchev building? She lives only in her memories: earlier everything was better than now and tomorrow it will be even worse.  Time here is mortal enemy. The same is with women in their fortieth. They desperately try to kill the time and wrinkles.
The examples seem to be endless. A photographer thinks he catches time by the tail, but in reality he fixes current events and transient moments, an archaeologist trying to dig out a tale which was told, builders erecting structures in secula seculorum…
The other side of the coin is how Ukrainians use time. By contrast with USA we use it ultimately ineffective. But what if the main goal is not money? American way of life turns out to be a complete absurd. Life in balance with Universe and Nature lengthens your dwell in the Earth which means you have more time than any who makes money. Time is money, but money is not time, it can’t buy even a humble second. In my opinion this is pure philosophy, but it was philosophers, who got the idea of the time right. And now it is high time to put forth a question about priorities and aims in our lives. The much talked-about American dream is nothing more than itch for money. Money is the aim. What about Ukrainian dream? Also money or a villa on some beautiful island, or luxurious car, or all that together, but this is not the aim. Our aim can be to beer for a while or repair something. If we are trying to reach to our dream breaking our necks we cease to be Ukrainians. We are unpretentious simple folk, giving - without – return and hospitable people.
 We make use out of time in our own way not trying to deceive it, so time will never betray us. Time treats Ukrainians like children giving us everything necessary for life – not more.

In life, men are controlled by time. They are always fighting against it, if time is not seen, man will not be so anxious. Time waits for no man but time surely will make us old men. When we ponder over time we tend to think of the ways in which we measure the passing of time, such as a clock or watch, or perhaps a measured interval of time such as an hour or minute, but not of time itself. So what is time? We perceive time as flowing from the past through the present and into the future. We have memory of past events, but of course no memory of future events. Time provides us with a base line reference point in which events can be placed in order of occurrence, and in this manner we are able to establish that one event occurred before or after another, and this provides us with the so called 'arrow of time'. What I know exactly is that the laws of time are indispensible for the earthmen. Its flow is steady, irreversible, everlasting. Whatever nationality you are, time remains the same matter, so difference is not in time, but in people themselves. People always make time to do the things they really want to do. That is why the Ukrainian time is not specific and extraordinary kind of time, but the way how Ukrainians are conscious of it and deal with it. In my opinion, the main difference between Ukrainian and American current outlook for time consists in totally diverse mentality. For us time is life and is difficult to live in the present, ridiculous to live in the future, and impossible to live in the past. Nothing is as far away as one minute ago, but we are not wasting it (if we are reasonable enough of course). We say that the one who loses Monday loses the week. Americans are more pragmatic and this is not that bad. Time is money. Success depends not only on financial and economic conditions, but on how one can control his time – the most precious heritage ever.
Universal time is equally shared between us. Everyone has his personal time, life and power to create his own destiny. For me time is the biggest mystery and that it is somehow tied into and dependent upon our consciousness. Time exists only in our minds even though its effects are perceived to be everywhere throughout the universe. One must learn to make use of time to its maximum and do not waste precious time. A man may waste ten years and the next ten years may go down to the drain. Have you ever thought of how many years left you have? Time is precious so one must control it well. Use it for working out things that may benefit mankind in the end. Waste it not by idling it. Use it in the right way and you too will gain. Remember with every sunrise and sunset, a day is gone behind you. Even if one cries for it, it will not return. Men may be of high intelligence yet no one can rewind the clock to suit them. Search now as if one may never find. Work now as if one will not work again. In today's society, men tend to slacken and instead of suiting to time, they relax as if there are years and years to come. Estimate the time that you have and contribute every minute if you can. Remember that time is ever on the move and once gone, it will never return. Thus, why should men be so scared of spending more time? For if more time is spent, more work can be achieved. But on the other hand time is too precious to spend it all on work! It goes by so fast, people go in and out of your life. You must never miss the opportunity to tell these people how much they mean to you.
Sometimes I think: why a day has only 24 hours, neither more nor less? We are accustomed to think of a day as a period of 24 hours. However, that definition is a narrow one that only applies to our own planet. A day is the length of time it takes for a planet to complete one rotation on its axis – 360°. Since all of the planets rotate at different speeds, the length of a day on each one differs. Compared to Earth, Mercury has a very long day. A day on Mercury takes 58 days and 15 hours in Earth days. A day on Mercury is only a little shorter than a year on the planet.
Venus is the slowest moving planet. In fact, it is so slow that while the other planets have flattened out at the poles due to the speed at which they spin, Venus has not flattened. Venus has the longest day of any planet in our Solar System. A day on Venus is 243 Earth days. Venus’ day is actually longer than its year. It only takes 224.7 Earth days for the planet to orbit the Sun.
We measure a day on Earth as a period of 24 hours, but it actually takes the planet 23 hours 56 minutes and 4 seconds to rotate on its axis. This measurement is actually called a sidereal day and is the length of time it takes the Earth to come back to the same position relative to the stars. While it seems that we would lose 4 minutes every day, that does not happen because the Earth is also orbiting the Sun.
A day on Mars takes 24 hours 39 minutes and 35 seconds in Earth time. The length of a day is similar to a day on Earth, which is one reason why scientists believed that plants and animals could survive on the Red Planet.
Jupiter is the largest planet, and it also has the shortest day. It takes Jupiter only 9.9 Earth hours to complete a rotation. Because the planet spins so quickly, it is extremely flattened at the poles and bulges out at the equator. The diameter of the equator is 9,300 km bigger than the diameter of the planet’s poles.
The length of a day on Saturn is extremely difficult to determine. It is always harder to determine the length of a day of a gas giant than it is to determine the length of a day of a terrestrial planet. Saturn’s day was measured at 10 hours 39 minutes and 24 seconds in the ‘80s. Then it was measured at approximately 10 hours 45 minutes and 45 seconds. In 2006, astronomers used more advanced equipment to measure the planets ending up with a measurement of about 10 hours and 47 minutes. Some astronomers believe that we will never know how long a day on Saturn is.
A day on Uranus only takes 17 hours 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Since the planet has such an extreme axial tilt (97.8°), it actually rotates on its side.
A day on Neptune lasts 16 hours 6 minutes and 36 seconds in Earth time. One odd thing about Neptune is that different parts of the planet rotate at different speed because the planet is mostly gas. The equator takes a couple more hours to rotate than the average while the poles rotate in about 12 hours.
For me it would be extremely exciting to live on another planet and feel different current of time. But even in the Venus with it longest day and opportunity to make use of spring and reap the harvest or do useful things we would celebrate New Year every day. We remain Ukrainians wherever we are and some smart aliens would wonder why we are taking everything so easy - everlasting weekend. Thanks God we are inhabitants of the Earth.

Generation Gap: is it myth or reality?

It is a fact of life that the generation gap or "clash" is something that has existed and will continue to exist as long as man exists on this earth. It is not restricted to certain parts of the world, to certain times of human history or to certain cultures. That is why this "clash" is a fact of a life accepted by all generations, all over the world and through all time. Generation gap is a more modern term for the difference between generations, or milder than the extreme definition which calls this difference as the "clash" between the opinions, the attitudes and the behaviors of the younger and the older generations. The inevitable progress of time and technologies makes the introduction of new ideas, new believes, and new values unavoidable. As a result this difference in the general outlook at life arises which is manifest in the difference of opinions and social values, in addition to the difference mannerism and behavior between young people and older people within the family as well as within the social contexts.
Perhaps, the generation gap that exists now between the younger and older generation can best be indicated by the difference of ideas between the young people and the older people in the family, namely the grand parents and the aunts or uncles who might be much older than their nieces and nephews, as is the case in "such" societies. Where bigamy is legal. The technological advances play a great rule in enlarging the gap as the younger generations are quicker to accept and adopt these technologies so that they consider the conservative and technologically suspicious elders of their families very old fashioned in their, tastes, opinions and out looks toward life. On the other hand, the older people despise the modern values which they call the" internet" and "globalization" values. They consider the young generation shallow, lacking knowledge and moral depth. This difference can best be seen in the difference of interests and hobbies. The young people of today get their knowledge from the "internet", and they hardly read other than light magazines, while the elders of their hard-earned, profound book based knowledge. The difference includes the moral and social values, as the different generations see notions such as marriage, love, happiness, decency, and decorum from different perspectives. Within the family sphere that leads to much arguments and sometimes clashes between the young people and the elder family members, especially the grand parents. Within the social context, the young generations'' behavior in general is looked upon by disdain by the older generations. It is natural that every age has its own social codes which include the manner of dressing, of behavior, and of farming relationships with others. For example, grand mothers never approve of wearing jeans, or tight fitting skirts in Saudi Arabia in the same way that western grandmothers disapprove of the bare belly-blouses and the spiky hair of their grand daughters.

Moreover, the elder generations hold fast to tradition and old customs, which they consider as part of their cultural heritage or social values. Younger generations, however, prefer to adopt modern values, and as a result they create their own ways of behavior. In other words, the younger people behave according to the current universal manners which tend to treat the elders in a comradely way, and to nsider the old notions of respecting the elders, of being restrained and decorous in their presence as rigid and old fashioned. Further more, the younger generations always revolt against the traditional rules concerning the choice of friends, spouses, and against the close family relations where the siblings are of one heart, and where they all remain under the guidance and control of the parents. Nowadays, individuality prevails and the elders have lost their power over the younger members of the family.

Fortunately the "clashes" are not serious, and different generations continue to love and endear each other though most of the time they do not see "eye to eye."

Web Quest: Outstanding People & Outstanding Abilities

Hi, folks.
I offer you to take part in a challenging Web Quest.  The competition  starts today.
We have chosen this topic on purpose, because our indifferent modern world is full of people worth our attention. Your task is to find information about outstanding people living nowadays and  their abilities either mental or physical.
Your project should contain video and relevant information about this person.
Deadline is 24.02.2011
On Friday morning three winners will be chosen.
The members of the jury are: Shishkina L.A., Brodnikova S. and Brodnikova H.

Here is an example of what you should do

Nicholas James Vujicic (born 4 December 1982) is a preacher and motivational speaker who was born without arms or legs due to a rare disorder known as Tetra-amelia. He struggled throughout his childhood to come to terms with his disability, and at seventeen started his own non-profit organization Life Without Limbs. After graduating from university, Vujicic began his travels as a motivational speaker. At present, he regularly gives speeches on subjects such as disability, hope, and finding meaning in life.

Early life

The first-born child of a Serbian family, Nick Vujicic was born in Brisbane, Australia with the rare Tetra-amelia disorder: limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and legless but with two small feet, one of which has two toes. Initially, his parents were devastated. Vujicic was otherwise healthy.

 Growing up

His life was filled with difficulties and hardships. One was being prohibited by Victoria state law from attending a mainstream school because of his physical disability, even though he was not mentally impaired. During his schooling, the laws were changed, and Vujicic was one of the first disabled students to be integrated into a mainstream school. He learned to write using the two toes on his left foot, and a special device that slid onto his big toe which he uses to grip. He also learned to use a computer and type using the "heel and toe" method (as demonstrated in his speeches), throw tennis balls, play drum pedals, comb his hair, brush his teeth, answer the phone, shave and get himself a glass of water (also demonstrated in speeches). Being bullied at his school, Vujicic grew extremely depressed, and by the age of 8, started contemplating suicide. At age 10, he tried to drown himself in 4 inches of water, but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After begging God to grow arms and legs, Nick eventually began to realize that his accomplishments were inspirational to many, and began to thank God for being alive. A key turning point in his life was when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. This led him to realize he wasn't the only one with major struggles. As time went by Nick began to embrace his situation and achieve greater things. In grade seven Nick was elected captain of his school and worked with the student council there on various fund-raising events for local charities and disability campaigns. When he was seventeen, he started to give talks at his prayer group, and eventually started his non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs.
In 2005 Nick was nominated for the "Young Australian of the Year" Award.

 Career

Nick graduated from university at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial Planning. He began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on the topics that today's teenagers face. He also speaks in the corporate sector, although his aim is to become an international inspirational speaker, in both ChristianAfrica, Asia, Australia, South America, and North America) and non-Christian venues. He regularly travels internationally to speak to Christian congregations, schools, and corporate meetings. He has spoken to over three million people so far, in over 24 countries on five continents.
Vujicic promotes his work through television shows as well as by writing. His first book is titled Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life (Random House, 2010).
His motivational DVD, Life's Greater Purpose, is available on the Life Without Limbs website.Most of the DVD was filmed in 2005, featuring a brief documentary about his home life, and how he does regular things without limbs. The second part of the DVD was filmed at his local church in Brisbane, and was one of his first professional motivational speeches. A DVD for young people is titled: No Arms, No Legs, No Worries: Youth Version.His motivational speeches can be seen on the Premiere Speakers Bureau Website. Vujicic currently lives in California.
He appeared in the short film "The Butterfly Circus" which won the Doorpost Film Project's top prize of 2009,and the Best Short Film award at the Method Fest Film Festival, where Vujicic was also awarded Best Actor in a short film. Butterfly Circus also just won the Best Short Film at the Feel Good Film Festival in Hollywood in 2010.

Innovation technology in the process of developing speech on teaching English language.

Recently we often ask question about using the new information technologies in Higher Educational Establishment. The main task of teaching foreign languages (FL) is forming and developing communicative culture of students, teaching practical using foreign languages. Teacher’s task consists of creating conditions of practical using language for each student, choosing such method of teaching to allow students to show their activity, their creativity.
Teacher’s task is to activate students’ perceiving activity in the process of teaching foreign languages. Contemporary pedagogical technologies such as teaching in cooperation, project method, using new informational technologies; Internet resources help to realize personal orientational approach in teaching, support individualization and differentiation of teaching in calculation with students abilities, their pre-higher educational preparation level, inclination and etc.  Informational technologies contribute to increase academic motivation of teaching FL and advance students’ knowledge. Using computer during English lessons increase significantly academic process intensivity. Computer teaching assimilates a large amount of material, than it was acquired using traditional teaching  conditions. Besides material in using computer is acquired more substantially. Computer supplies multisupporting, that is current, intermediate, total academic process control. Computer supplies multisupporting control of academic process that is current intermediate, total. Using the computer control of quality students’ knowledge to achieve the large objectiveness of valuation. Besides, computer control considerably economizes academic time, as it checks students’ knowledge simultaneously.
That give possibility for teacher grant attention to creative aspects of working with students. Computers make favourable  conditions for student’s individual works at the English lesson. Students can use computer as teaching separately theme as for their self-control knowledge. On of the students’ dignity is an ability to accumulate static information in the course of educational process.
Analyzing static basis that is quantity of mistakes, right/wrong answers, ask for help, time spent on  doing separate tasks and etc. , teacher judges on level and  quality of students’ knowledge forming
Favourable possibilities make computer for organizing students’ individual work at the English lesson. Students can use computer to learn separate themes and also to self-control acquired knowledge, to be able to  revise any tasks, to get right answer and at the end automatization of forming skills.  At the elementary stage of teaching English, in the  process of setting aims and tasks introducing.  Spontaneous setting tasks to students are  realized by computer.
         Internet suggests different informations and resources to their users. Basic collection of services may include:
-         e-mail;

-Usenet;
-         video conference;
-         possibility to publish own information, to create own homepage and to advertise it on web-server;
-         access to informational resources;
-         reference books (Yahoo! InfoSeek/Ultra Smart, LookSmart, galaxy);
-         searching systems (Alta Vista, HotBob, Open Text, WebCrawler, Excite);
-         chat.
These resources maybe actively used at the English lesson. Computer teaching programs have many advantages before traditional method of teaching. They allow to train different kinds of speaking activities and their different combinations, to help to perceive language phenomena, to form linguistic abilities, to make communicative situations, to automatize language and speaking actions, and also supply an ability of control leading  representative system, realization of individual approach  and intensification of students’ individual works.

What is a WebQuest?

A WebQuest is in essence a mini-project using authentic language and carefully staged steps, which, as learners work through them, reach pre-set goals and work towards the production of original output, which is finally cemented of a presentation of some kind. This, the participants will have arrived at by means of navigating the Web, while involved in a variety of skill enhancing activities.
With this lofty goal in mind, let’s take a brief look at just what exactly is involved:
Four main components of a well-built WebQuest:
  • The first is an introductory phase, which like the lead-in to any good lesson, will engage learners in the overall theme of the project, deal with any key vocabulary or concepts necessary to deal successfully with the upcoming tasks, and set the overall context.
  • Next will come a series of tasks which will be explained clearly so that learners will know exactly what is expected of them as they proceed through the project.
  • Following the clear task guidelines, “the process stage of a WebQuest guides the learners through a set of activities and research tasks, using a set of pre-defined resources, usually presented in the form of a web link...the process stage will usually have one or more products which the learners are expected to present at the end.”
From the eventual ‘products’, an evaluation stage, which involves both self-evaluation as well as teacher evaluation, will round out the project and allow for feedback on both language performance and language learning based outcomes.
What does the teacher do?

The teacher maintains an essential role in this process as not only the one who would normally select or set up the WebQuest, but who also plays an important role as facilitator - providing support, feeding in language as necessary, monitoring and eventually, taking on a role in an evaluating capacity. In my experience, it is important to strike a delicate balance between helping students make their way through the project, and trespassing on their autonomy. Remember that it is such autonomy which is likely to boost learner self-confidence and motivation. There is also the implication that, as much of the project work takes place on the Internet, the teacher must ensure that all participants are sufficiently versed in basic navigation skills. This might even provide an opportunity for student teaching, as there will surely be some in your groups who can impart this kind of information and design some light practice activities.
What is the outcome?

As described above, learners will be asked to create one or more projects which are directly linked to the success of their task completion in the process stage. This is the tangible outcome of all their hard work and is the part which is subject to evaluation. This is an essential ingredient to a WebQuest, or any other project for that matter, and the criteria of this should be made clear and available to the students from the start. Clear teacher-learner evaluation criteria is a must, as it gives clear guidelines as to what is expected from the learner throughout the project as well as what learning outcomes are desirable. These guidelines can, and should be modified to distinguish between, and allow for both oral presentation and written work.
Typically, a well designed WebQuest will include an opportunity for learners to undertake self-evaluation as well, which may be guided by thought-provoking questions geared towards both what the student feels they have learned in the realm of language, as well as asking them to look at the type of experience they have just undertaken and how that relates to their progress as a whole. They might also be asked what they see as the advantages or otherwise using the Internet compared to a more traditional, classroom and printed materials approach.

developing technologies

With the developing technologies in the first decade of the 21st century, internet has opened limitless possibilities for us to use it in education where cyberspace is in everywhere in our lives
There are a lot to benefit if you are already using internet and computers in your classes. Blogging, wikis, podcasting, digital storytelling, shared bookmarking etc.
That is true with the internet, we  have gained an entry to  limitless storage of videos, music, slides related to English teaching.

New technologies are certainly great teaching resources

New technologies are certainly great teaching resources. I personally started using my laptop and video projector this year and I realised that that benfited me and my students. My work has become more interesting, easier and cleaner. Chalk and talk everyday turns your classroom into a boring place for you and your students. With the new technologies my students are more interested in attending my classes. The new technologies have made my work easier too. As an example, preparing visual aids and showing them is no more hard work. There are lots of ready made pictures on the web that you can edit and present effectively using MS Powerpoint. My work has also become cleaner. I couldn't put on my nice clothes when coming to the classroom because of the chalk I used. Now I have a white board(not yet interactive) and a laptop. The dusty days are to dust.
 She took these words right out of my mouth )))

-Fashion: Is It Good To Be on The Peak?

-It is more than good. It is pleasant.
-But it is not the gay coat that makes the gentleman.

Fashion is a state of mind. The word Fashion comes from the Latin word ‘facere’ which means to make. Fashion is most commonly associated with clothing, but it can be anything. For me fashion is basically personal style combined with comfort. Fashion doesn’t have any fixed shelf life. Styles might change but never disappear.
     Regardless if you are a woman or a man, there is no doubt you try to look your best at any given time, and this is where the industry of fashion comes in. When you travel to a boutique or a mall, do you ever think to take into account fashion history? Let’s have a glimpse at it. In one form or another, fashion has been with us as long as there have been people. The history of fashion therefore actually began with early humans, who utilized things like animal skins and shells to adorn their bodies with them. During special occasions there were special garments that were worn. In regions such as Ancient Greece, the history of fashion really introduced the utilization of naturalism.
For instance, if you were to look into the numerous ancient sculptures, there is little doubt you would take notice that a large amount of pride was taken in the human form, and that being what it was, fashion really meant wearing as little clothing as possible.
Fashion history as we understand it actually began to come into being during the Renaissance. At that period in history renaissance was a time of cultural and intellectual enlightenment, so it makes complete sense that views on clothing had changed dramatically.
When I take a look at the amazing styles of fashionable clothing around me displayed on mannequins, I feel them call out to me. These clothings have the same message, 'Buy Me!' Who can resist the wonderful designs and fabrics, the joy of wearing a new outfit and the feel of a designer garment! That is something only a shopaholic can ever understand!
    But do clothes really make a man? Well, the world of fashion surely seems to think so! Take a deeper look into the depths of
fashion designing and you would know what I am speaking about.
Fashion design is a form of art. To work as a designer, you should have an artistic and creative personality. You also have to be good at drawing and able to express your ideas in sketches. You don't necessarily have to be a great artist, but you must have some special skills for combining colors, tones and shades. You also have to be able to work with fabric and use textiles in a creative and original manner.  Who can forget the little black dress by Coco Chanel. The eternal black dress is still popular for all red carpet events attended by the most powerful personalities in showbiz!
In my opinion, the first and foremost requirement to be on the peak is to be of pleasing personality. You need to have social etiquette and an ability to befriend people.
     Personal hygiene is very essential. So make sure that you shower daily and that your clothes are clean. Brush your teeth and use a good deodorant.
     Do not try to follow a
fashion trend, if you are not comfortable with it. The biggest mistake is that people blindly follow fashion trends. We are not wannabes!
The last and most important step is to "not compromise". Each individual has his/her share and set of principles. In fact, it is these principles that make each one attractive and lovable in his/her own way. So, do not compromise on your principles, come what may. These principles will be what you are respected for, so don't let go of them. Any opportunity that requires you to "drop the principles", is not worth it!
These steps are very important in being loved for it. It is essential to be a good person from within. Always remember, being top-class gives you power and with great power comes great responsibility!
Right kind of clothes and make up can make even an ordinary girl, look like a beauty queen. At the same time, a gorgeous woman who is dressed badly, may not look so appealing. So, what things should be kept in mind by girls while dressing up? Here are some useful fashion tips for girls, which they can make use of, for everyday dressing as well as while dressing for special occasions.
General Fashion Tips for Girls
     Comfort is the Key
     The first and probably, the most important of fashion tips for girls, is to wear such clothes and shoes, in which they are completely at ease. If you are dressed in something which makes you uncomfortable, it is bound to show on your face, making you seem awkward and under confident. So, remember to always wear clothes in which you are comfortable.
     Dress according to Body Type
     When choosing clothes,  always opt for the ones, which help to hide your flaws and bring up your attractive features. A good way to ensure that is to wear clothes according to your body type. If you are top heavy, i.e. you have a heavy bust and broad shoulders, wear shirts and blouses which draw attention away from your upper body. A top heavy girl should wear a "V neck", shirts with horizontal lines and small collars or minimal designs on them. A girl who is bottom heavy, should avoid wearing body hugging jeans as it will bring every one's attention to her heavy posterior. Instead, she should wear loose, low waist trousers or straight skirts, teemed with tight tops to bring attention to her upper body, instead of the lower body.
Appropriate Make up
     Appropriate make up is very essential to get the right look. During the day, one should go in for a more natural look, and avoid loud make up colors such as blue or green. As far as evening make up or make up for parties is concerned, one can try and experiment with colors that match the outfit. In the night, dark make up colors such as black, brown, blue, look really good.
    Things to Avoid
Here is a list of fashion blunders which should be avoided by every girl.
·           Do not over accessorize, i.e. wear five, six chains together, or a ring on every finger, as it does not look classy at all, unless off course dressing like a hippie is what you like.
·           Low waist trousers or jeans which show your lingerie can be a big turn off as they look quite vulgar.
·           Do not wear a black lipstick.
·           Do not wear awkward combination of clothing, like teaming long t-shirts with full length skirts.
·           If you are wearing a white dress or a white blouse, do not wear a black bra underneath, instead go in for a skin colored one.
·           Lastly, do not mix various dressing styles, for example do not wear sports shoes with an evening dress..
Keeping these fashion tips in mind, the next time you dress up for an occasion or for your date will give unabated zest. Attitude, confidence and a genuine smile are also very important, so always remember to wear them too.
